Nicole earned her Masters in Young Adult Fiction from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in July of 2012. She's well-versed in the realm of digital storytelling, interactive learning and transmedia convergent technologies. She's a mentor for Columbia University's Executive Master of Science program and teaches writing workshops at the Highlights Foundation. Most recently, she was the VP of Prod/Technology at, a young adult, online community devoted to reading and writing fiction that was acquired by Random House in 2013. A few months ago, his mom abandoned him and his dad with no explanation. His twin sister, Faith, drowned when they were three years old.
