The problematics adopted by organizations and tiger mums have, in different ways developed critiques in the wider society they inhabit.
Organizations on another hand, use holistic approaches especially when embrace new culture or develop a new sift into their development. However the society point out a key tension in this form of thinking as the tiger mums embrace a holistic approach. Therefore the new way of thinking has a profound impact on the study of children environment, child‘s routine which in the end had a strong legacy for successful tiger parenting. Tiger parents adopt a very specific system thinking which is also embedded into children education.
Some students claimed that tiger parenting is a bit pushy and regimental but on the same hand they found the approach to appear quite rewarding. However there are always pros and cons as not everyone could share the same orientation and interest, nor to dare to be quite liberal to innovation approach and develop and prosper as a result of it.The tiger approach is a new form of critical thinking and many families adopted such style of schooling. If we examine the implication of the familiar metaphor, we can see that it portrays the organization as loyal parents while the employees are cast in the role of off spring. The concept of Tiger Mother or Tiger Parent has been widely depicted in international media, including films such as Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), The Joy Luck Club (1993), Vitus (2006), and most recently in a book written by Yale law professor Amy Chua describing herself (2011) as being taught under the tiger mom regime. This form of upbringing is intended to direct a child towards financially successful careers at the potential risk of feeling emotionally unfulfilled and/or socially inept.
Tiger mother is described as mother who is overly strict with her child in order to foster an academically competitive spirit.
